Rapid Leak Detection in the Piceance Basin: How Qube Helped Catch A Separator Leak
A separator leak at a wellsite —near a residential area—could have gone undetected all weekend. But it didn’t.
In Colorado’s Piceance Basin, a leading operator avoided days of methane leaks thanks to Qube’s real-time monitoring system. Five site-perimeter sensors flagged a sharp methane spike, located the source to a single separator, and sent automated alerts to field crews when it happened.

Release 2.39: New Workflows, Emission Classification
Release 2.39 is now live, introducing the LDAR Workflow to effectively manage CH4 emission rate alarms by classifying emissions, assigning root causes, and tracking repair status directly in the Qube Dashboard. Additionally, users can utilize the Basic Workflow for other alarms to add comments and mark them as "Resolved," while classification data is easily accessible for analysis and export.
